January 5th, 10, God stepped in and answered a long awaited prayer and a long awaited promise.
A little over two years ago God placed on my heart that Brandon was going to get in the Air Force. Now when and how I didn't know.. But for me I thought it would be no time and we would be on our way.. God had a different plan.
After two years of Weight issues, Waivers, accountability, 3 Different recruiters my heart finally came to the conclusion that God is doing something... and I needed to find out what God was teaching me in all of this.
Throughout the months God truly showed me as I have posted in other blog post that I needed to know what peace was in him even in situations where there was the opposite of peace and to teach me what truly having an absolute surrender in hope to God was. I also learned to pray about everything, good or bad, happy or sad, or just even a thought that comes to my mind.. and thank you Jesus for it .. I pray over everything all the time. It has become a huge blessing what God has taught me to do.
After many different spiritual experiences with God I learned that God was going to get Brandon in, and I needed to just continue to wait and serve him. *another reason one of my favorite songs is While Im Waiting By John Waller*
Well Brandon did leave and God answered.. I could write a book about this experience, and I practically have in my writing journal but for now I must just simply put what God has done and is doing..
Thank you God for your unfailing love, mercy, hope, perserverance, and peace!!

Having perfect peace with God has to be the most incredible feeling. Its a feeling of perfect contentment in whatever situation you are in. Its so perfect and I am so happy that I have finally accepted that I can not put my peace in anyone but the Peacemaking God for only he can give me that Perfect Peace!
I absolutely love the song by John Waller called Perfect Peace
"Thou will keep me in perfect peace when my mind is stayed on you,
My peace is not of this world but my mind stayed on you"
Praise God, God is the God OF Peace and Hope, and the perserverance I needed to withstand my battle and weather my storm!!
Satan tries to attack us when he sees the Victory!!

FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLY DAYIn Florida , an atheist created a case against the Easter & Passover holydays.
He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians,Jews and observances of their holy days.
The argument was it was unfair that atheists had no such recognizedday(s).The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judgebanged his gavel declaring, 'Case dismissed.'
The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, 'Yourhonor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter, etc.
The Jews have Passover, YomKippur, Rosh Hashanah, and Hanukkah.Yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays.
judge leaned forward in his chair saying, 'But you do.Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant.
'The lawyer said, 'Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observanceor holiday for atheists.'The judge said, 'The calendar shows April 1st is 'April Fools Day.'
Psalm 14:1 states: 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.'Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool.
Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned.'AMEN'

So basically with this one, we're supposed to pick out the closest book to us, turn to page 56 and type out a few lines.
So here we go.
The closest book to me is Dangerous Grounds by Lary Bond.. this is my Step Dad's
Pg.5
may she ever go to sea:
The Naval Submarine Base New London is located on the eastern Shore of the Thames River in Groton, Connecticut. It has been there since the 1860's, although Jerry couldnt remember the Exact date. More important, it had been a sub base since WWI. Nearly two dozen nuclear subs were based there, all of them attack boats, SSNs, with the exception of the Deep-diving research sub NR-1.
Definitely not my kinda book!
And now I get to tag 5 other of my bloggers:

Ater watching Fire Proof I have been absolutely obsessed with the song By John Waller " While Im waiting" and it has really hit Home for me and what I am going through right now. I posted some of the Lyrics.
I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently,
I will wait
I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I feel like this Song speaks to me so much. Especially with everything I have been going through with waiting on my husband to get in the Air Force. Alot of people say " You know what if It is just not for him" But In my heart I know its God's Calling. I try so hard to brush comments off but It really eats at me. Sometimes I wish I could Pick up the Pieces for Him but I know I cannot.. It is his calling. I just want so badly to see him take off and sore.. and I find my self sometimes Begging to God and not just asking for it.
What I was saying though about this song talking to me is that I have been so Patient and I have been so Hopeful.. and I have tried to be confident and alot of the time I feel broken down by people who think Im crazy for my beliefs on life and future. Its not easy for Me by any means because I wish I could just show everyone How I can home school, and my son wont be "weird" and w/o a "social life" but to me you know his salvation is so much more important to me then Him being friends with the whole school. How I can be a homemaker and How I want my son to learn Creationism. I want to be able to profess the name of Jesus Christ and not feel awkward with people everytime I do. I want to be able to have rules in my life.. The rules of God. Im tired of people using curse words in front of my baby an I cannot wait for the day when I can stand on two feet and respected.
I find my self talking to God just hoping and Praying for my life to Change. I want so badly for something to happen in this life.. I crave for it so bad. I just feel like My life and everything In it, is for so much more. I want my entire Life God and it so many ways and not by choice its not.. And I know in my own house my own life , its Gods way or no way!!
Some times I become so anxious and impatient and I know that is God just telling me to be Patient.. an Iam Trying so very hard.. Please Pray for me.
My husbands favorite Scripture Verse:
Why do you say, O Jacob, and complain, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD; my cause is disregarded by my God”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:27-31, NIV)
I feel like that Scripture Is my husband .. Because he has fallen and stumbled and He and I are hoping in the Lord..

I don't yet if I will make it to church. There are a few things I need to work out first, although All else aside I would love to go.
Last night before Bed I was reading Power of Praying Wife and I Prayed for my husband's purpose. I have really been praying for my husband and my son lately and yes, i can see results in my husbands. Small ones at least. Well Anyway, I just prayed that God would reveal to him exactly what his will for him would be and would put a calling on my husband's heart for it. What choice my Husband makes at that point be his decision but by praying I'm reaching out that God would help him find his purpose.. O how Wonderful prayer is!
I prayed also for my son. In the book Power of a praying Parent I read the chapter on a child's Salvation. My biggest prayer for Anyone especially my son would be that one day he commits his life to Christ and Walks with a daily relationship with the Lord. I prayed that if one day he would go astray that God would move quickly in, put it on his heart like a burden, and hear the Holy Spirit Pulling him back. That he would be Born Again and Baptised at his own decision in life and lead a life of Christ everyday till one day he meets his Lord and Savior!
To me Salvation isn't just accepting Christ into your heart and then you have a ticket to heaven, its yes, accepting him but living everyday repenting, Building a relationship, having a transformation "the old is gone , the new has come." Its being a servant to God and dedicating your life to him, giving all that you have to him, and surrendering everything in your life (family, money, work, etc) to him and having faith in the unknown. God will take care..even though sometimes it may get a little tough
Daily Prayers: My husbands Purpose, My Son's Salvation (right now he is only 15 months), Recognizing Salvation

Beatitudes for a Married Couple
Blessed are the husband and wife who continue to be affectionate, considerate and loving after the wedding bells have stopped ringing.
Blessed are the husband and wife who are as polite and courteous to one another as they are to their friends.
Blessed are the husband and wife who have a sense of humor. Their marriage shall be much brighter.
Blessed are the husband and wife who thank God for good things that come to them. They shall receive both good things and thankful children.
are the husband and wife who are faithful to each other and mutually helpful. God will surely guide them.
Blessed are the husband and wife who make their house a home. A place “where seldom is heard a discouraging word.” They shall inspire others to do likewise.
Blessed are the husband and wife who are good stewards of all God’s gifts. Their children will bless them and follow their example.
Blessed are the parents who abstain from drunkenness, tobacco and drugs. Their children will surely follow their example.
Blessed are the husband and wife who attend and support their church. Their children shall develop a strong faith.
Blessed is the family whose lives are a testimony of faith and hope in God. They shall be the channels through which God’s kingdom will come on earth.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow them all the days of their lives and they shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever”. Psalm 23:6
Amen.

Today Was a pretty decent day. It started out with a shower with Joseph. My mom wanted to go to Breakfast. We went to Jay Christopher's. My poor mom had such a bad neck all day, I pray its gone for her tomorrow. Joseph got his own plate today(he usually eats just off of my plate) but today we got him the Dinosaur Eggs. It contains a piece of Bacon, One egg, and one Pancake and A little bit of watermelon. He first ate the Watermelon, then his eggs, and barely ate the pancake. Hes a healthy little eater. I finished the Pancake... :0) And the bacon.
I don't let him eat certain foods like bacon and tuna. Stuff I don't feel is right for him just yet. He loves His grapes though. He isn't a big sweet tooth though, well i haven't really allowed him to be one. I think he has only had juice 3 times his whole life, and mainly nurses, drinks water and/or milk. He loves his Milk as well! I don't give him Hot dogs, Cake, ice cream. Ive heard alot of " You should let him try stuff, he needs to be a kid" But I found it works in my favor when he takes naps, sleeps at night, and isn't so wound up. To me though a 14 month old baby shouldn't be eating peach Pie with Ice Cream and just because the adults do does not mean I need to walk out of the room, HE is still so little. Especially when it is right before his bed time! He will be able to When he gets a little older.
Anyway, Brandon met this guy that he has been working out with for a while now and they are really compatible friends. They both want to go in the Air Force, and they both are holding each other accountable for the things they eat, they are working out together to lose whatever weight they have left. I think Brandon really needed someone who was on the same page as him. Thank God!!
One of My favorite shows came on tonight, Criminal Minds. I really like how they can just read a situation and understand why the person may have done it, the patterns they have, the reason behind it all... its really neat to watch. I made an Artichoke that Brandon and I shared.
For Dinner my mom Made Civeche. It has alot of different stuff in it. Its Kinda like a salsa but not. It was really good. Everyone except Joseph ate it. It had Tilapia and Shrimp in it. Not yet...
So Lets hear about the Poor game Tennessee Volunteers had on Monday to UCLA. Hopefully they will pull it together with this new quarterback Saturday! COME ON SEC!!! We are the Strongest Conference by far! Unfortunately my husband is a Florida Gator Fan, but I must say compared to our new quarterback their Quarterback is the best one to his College Football in a long time!
I talked to my sister tonight, I do Miss her! shes doing good I just feel bad because the Girl she was suppose to get an apartment with doesn't want to Find a job and work to get one. Hopefully something can happen for her!
Well I got to go, Brandon and I are about to go to bed!! Night!
Daily Prayers: Strength when I feel Hopeless, Air Force, Change, Madeline to find a good situation in Jacksonville, Home Depot to go through, My mom's Neck Ache to Goooo Awayyy, Tennessee to win this weekend
